Here’s a bit of what people are saying about My Lost Summer.
Read a
review published by University
Relations, University of Cincinnati.
I enjoyed your
book. When I reached the end, I was sorry there wasn’t more.
What I noticed right away was that the book is easy to read, and
extremely touching in the way it presents various family members as they
learn to cope with Elizabeth's injuries.
On July 31, 2005, my brother [had an accident while] competing in a
cycling competition in North Carolina. … We have been through so much of
what you document in your book--the coma, the reawakening, and now the
most difficult process of rehab. … I read the entire book cover-to-cover
yesterday. It was unbelievably personal and special to me.
It was/is a wonderful story.
I did read your book, and thought it could be informative to many
families experiencing the difficulties you faced.
